CERTIFICATION LEARNING PATHS™

In 2023 PRO EDU will become accredited to issue certification. We are developing a learning-path-based curriculum with certification testing so you can gauge your skills and identify your areas of opportunity. We're taking this one step further and will design rigorous testing that is monitored to achieve the certification. We intend to create a certificate worth incredible value and earned ONLY when you demonstrate a wide range of knowledge in the subject manner and application.

We first started this idea with CGI and partnered with the world-leading Visual Arts company Maxon to develop a certification course for artists to learn 3D with the tools of Cinema 4D. In partnership with Maxon, we created pathways for artists to attain new CGI skills to become better artists.

Taking this concept further, we are taking inspiration from the institution PPA. We will design a curriculum based on the 500-question test they issue for the Certified Professional Photographer Exam. In doing so we are creating a well-rounded approach to certification by providing visual artists the tools and knowledge they need to achieve the test.

TECHTORIALS

Think of a "techtorial" as "The Most Efficient Workflow To Learn Software Tools and Technical Ideas."

These courses range from 3-7 hours and are hyper-focused and focus on specific workflow topics.

These are designed to make you faster by unlocking industry-leading secrets and hidden workflows.

An example of this would be The Science Of Color With Kate Woodman.

COMPLETE BUILDS™

A complete build looks at a real job and breaks down every creative decision along the way.

With "Complete Builds," you will see one image come to life from the initial concept to final delivery and get every asset to practice with and hone in on your skills along the way.

These come with assignments so you can challenge yourself to create your own complete build.

An example of this would be Reverse Portrait Compositing.

DOCUTORIALS™

Think of a docutorial as an exploration into the WHY a photographer is who they are and why they do what they do.
These courses made PRO EDU who they are, from exploring Commercial Color and Composites with Erik Almas to diving into the world of Sports with Tim Tadder.

The courses are a blend of a documentary and are full of a wide-gamut of information on how these individuals.

These courses range from 10-25 hours and are hyper-focused and focus on specific workflow topics. These are designed to make you faster by unlocking industry-leading secrets and hidden workflows.

CREATIVE WORKFLOW TOOLS™

We are developing more Creative tools for photographers that explore color, efficiency, and post-production and are excited to release a lot more.
