    Depth & Clarity!

Building upon the Science of Color, this tutorial adds context to theory. Understanding the science; the fundamentals of colour and its application in editing helps you to make more informed decisions, not just in the editing itself but also around the purchase of plugins, presets and LUTS etc. and how they might (or not) add value as opposed to replacing a solid working knowledge of the subject.

Kate & PRO EDU Have Done It Again!

What can I say? PRO EDU always produces top notch tutorials, and this one is no exception. Kate is a master at story telling with her images, so it was awesome watching her go through her process from start to finish. Kate talks about the components needed to create compelling narratives in your images and how to flesh out your ideas. With each shoot we get to watch (there are 6 of them!), Kate discusses how the colors in the scene work with the story and emotion. She tells you why she is lighting specific ways and why she makes the editing choices she does. It is a superb tutorial, and I highly recommend it if you want to take your images from good to amazing! I have already expanded details of some ideas I have had, and now I am super excited to pull it all together and start shooting!
