Cinema 4D requires specific hardware in your computer to complete the course assignments. We recommend you check the Maxon System requirements HERE before purchasing the course to ensure that your computer's hardware and software meet the minimum requirements.
In part of this tutorial, Dustin teaches and incorporates Octane Render engine by Otoy as his preferred render engine. While this isn't mandatory and there are other options for render engines, this is an additional cost of approximately 20 Euro's per month to use the Octane Render Engine for some of the lessons. Octane is not part of Maxon Cinema 4D and is an option for a render engine type. In this course, teacher's from Maxon will introduce Maxon's internal render engine and you will have free access to Cineversity to learn how to use Maxon's render engine.
