ADv Color Grading

There were some great insights into the breakdown of color in an image and how to interpret and change that color.

It would have been nice to see a real job graded, maybe commercial versus fashion, with more focused outcomes as it did feel that this was Sef more in the area of play. If you are new to color grading I would recommend this but if you are more accomplished I would maybe look elsewhere.

Nothing New for me in

Nothing New for me in this class. $65 wasted on a guy showing the same thing over and over again. And yes it might be indestructible grading using ACR, but when you need to do the retouching on the image you need to flatten and if the client then returns with grading corrections it’s of no use… sorry but try again!

I expected more, but it was generally ok.

Unfortunately, I can not give 5 stars. It's written that 3 stars mean "Okay", so this course was ok ;) It wasn't bad but also it wasn't perfect. I expected more. More about color theory, more how colors work with each other, and definitely more about how to literally change them and manipulate them in photoshop. This if I remember correctly was fulfilled only in the last (or sth like that) video. I learned some stuff, so is ok. I hoped it will be kind of one-stop to level up my "color game". It turned out, I'm still looking :) Anyway, it was worth watching :D

Not much to learn

If your a professional you will have done all of this color work. If not you can find it for free on the internet. If you don't want to look for these technics individually they have Beautiful photography to work with and professional advise from a great colorist.

Great tutorial

It's a great and well-organized tutorial. I should have given it a 5 if in the final image he sticks with the initial work flow which involve the color wheel and detailed explaination on which color hamony he is after. He made it a little quick and left some unexplained issues on the root of the color scheme which made it not as clear as the rest of the tutorial. Whatever, still a great tutorial and it is worth the money.
